Frequently asked questions

What does ZaRVPN do?

It sends your internet traffic through an encrypted tunnel to one of our servers. The network you are on, such as café Wi-Fi, sees encrypted data instead of the sites you visit, and websites see our server’s address instead of yours.

Which protocol do you use?

WireGuard. It is open, small and widely reviewed. We do not make up our own encryption.

Does a VPN make me anonymous?

No. If you sign in to a website with your name, that website knows who you are. Browsers can also reveal details such as your time zone and language. A VPN protects your traffic and hides your address. It is one layer, not a cloak.

Can it block malware and ads?

Our DNS resolver is planned to refuse known malware, phishing and tracker domains from public lists, with switches you control. No product blocks every attack, and we will describe exactly what is blocked rather than claim more.

Will it work on a network that blocks VPNs?

Stealth mode is built for that, and it is on by default in the ZaRVPN apps. It carries the tunnel over port 443, the normal web port. You can switch to plain WireGuard in the app if you want more speed. Filtering systems change, so we cannot promise it will work everywhere, and in some countries using a VPN is restricted by law. You are responsible for following the law where you are.

How many devices can I use?

Personal covers 5, Family 15 and Business 50. You can see and remove devices in your account, and a removed device stops working within seconds.

Is there a data limit?

No. Data is unlimited on every plan, and we do not slow your connection after a certain amount. Each plan has a limit on the number of devices.

Can I cancel?

Yes, from My account. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Who runs ZaRVPN?

BobzaR Network Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
